Information on using the DSP Marketing Presentation
To view the presentation you just need a computer with “Acrobat Reader.” You can
download the presentation and print it or show it on a computer. Or, if you have access
to an computer LCD projector, you can also display the presentation on a screen or wall.
I would not advise presenting this material “cold.” It is suggested that you practice it
going through the slides one by one.
Please note that the last slide is sideways. This slide was not intended for viewing—it is
our handout on the Tennessee insurance discount information and State statute. It is
intended to be part of the handout. As indicated previously, you can print the slides,
including the last one, and hand the material out so the recipient can follow along. If you
don’t have a computer or a projector to present the material, you can review it in handout
form if you print it.
Some pointers on viewing the material in Acrobat Reader on a computer screen (or
computer and projector):
1. Once you open the file, if you press the “CNTL” and the “L” key at the same
time, the presentation will go to full screen mode. If you want a smaller
viewing area, you can press “CNTL” and the “-“ key at the same time.
2. Once in the full screen viewing mode, you can advance the slides by either
pressing the “Enter” key or pressing the “Space” bar. You can also advance the
slides by pressing the up arrow or the right arrow. AND, to go BACKWARDS
press the down arrow or the left arrow.
3. To return to the regular computer viewing mode, either press “CNTL” and the
“L” key a second time, or press the “ESC” (escape) key.
The material is best viewed in the full screen mode.
For a comprehensive presentation to potential sponsors, after showing/discussing this
presentation, you might show the video segment on the DSP Course DVD which is
entitled, “Become an AARP DSP Sponsor.” You can access this segment by playing the
DVD (NOT the VHS tape) and selecting “Recruitment Videos” from the main menu.
From there you will see a selection which includes the “Become an AARP DSP Sponsor”
segment.
I hope this presentation is helpful to you.
